At Mothers of the Amazon, our mission is to protect the Amazon Rainforest and the health of its indigenous communities for future generations.

We recognize that the safeguard of our climate, biodiversity, and the health and future of our children and our planet relies intrinsically on the protection of the Amazon rainforest and the health of the ones who defend it.

Mothers of the Amazon are at the frontlines of the defense of the largest rainforest in the world, and raising the next generation of forest guardians that will ensure the protection of the Amazon for future generations.

Our aim is to empower and support through restorative and regenerative indigenous-led community projects that improve indigenous health, protect and restore the health of the rainforest through land buy back and reforestation, and preserve indigenous knowledge and culture for future generations.
