Bane Saleh
Founder & CEO
Bane Saleh is an architect, an environmental strategist and a plant and health researcher. She has worked for the last 20 years in the fields of sustainable architecture, metropolitan research and design, Zero waste technology and public health. After a personal health crisis in 2010, Bane spent the following 10 years researching the global rise in chronic illnesses including cancer, autoimmune disorders and allergies as well as medicinal plants and alternative treatments to fight those diseases. Her passion for healing with nature led her to nature’s largest pharmacy, the Amazon. Bane funded the Mothers of the Amazon initiative in 2019 with the mission of protecting the Amazon Rainforest and the health of its indigenous communities through restorative and regenerative sustainable community projects that empower women in the Brazilian Amazon. The Mothers of the Amazon are raising the next generations of forest guardians who will protect the Rainforest and the world’s biodiversity for future generations
